Understanding, Caring and Supporting Seniors Living with Alzheimer's and Dementia

Alzheimer's and Dementia are diseases known for affecting seniors in the later phases of their lives. They become someone else entirely, the grandmother and grandfather you once knew becomes whose character you cannot predict. They exhibit different behaviors which are indicative with the nature of the disease. Through the virtue of my work experience, I have seen in time the ways different seniors around me manifest symptoms of the disease in their bodies and their minds. Within the past 15 years I have seen, interacted, cared and devoted time to learning and supporting the seniors and their families.It is heartbreaking to realize that the moment of their lives, their love ones find it difficult to understand them, or interact with them, hence neglecting without learning or giving the proper care that they deserve. I have written this book during the time my family and myself suffered and endured this tragedy. I know very well how this disease can take over a person's life and change the lives of the family members that they once knew. I encourage and enlighten you by providing knowledge of the disease and its extent and how to understand and care for your love ones. The Journey is a Eternal, Thank you for reading!
