Focusing on the problem of the Prime Matter in the Philoponus' Contra Proclum (Book XI), this study offers the first translation, in French, extensively annoted and commented in the context of the 'quaestio disputata' of the Neoplatonic Alexandrian School (VIe s.). Consacrée au problème de la Prima Materia dans le Contra Proclum, livre XI, de Jean Philopon, cette étude en propose la première traduction, en français, exhaustivement annotée et commentée dans le contexte de la question disputée interne à l'Ecole néoplatonicienne d'Alexandrie (VIe s.).
